        On July 18, 2024, the Fastener Carbon Footprint Technology Seminar, hosted by the National Fastener and Standard Parts Technical Committee and organized by Ningbo Jinding Fastener Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Zhongji Machinery Parts Testing Co., LTD., was successfully held in Ningbo. This seminar aims to deeply explore the development requirements and implementation paths of key technical standards such as the carbon footprint management system throughout the entire life cycle, verification and assessment, enterprise carbon footprint evaluation and labeling.
        The conference attracted over 30 experts from the National Fastener Standardization Committee, China Machinery Productivity Promotion Center Co., LTD., Zoomlion Certification Center, Changan Automobile, Factory 7412, FAW Components and China Jiliang University, among others. They engaged in in-depth discussions on the significance and content of carbon footprint technical standards in the fastener industry.
         The meeting was presided over by Chen Yanling, the secretary-general of the Standards Committee. At the meeting, Ding Baoping, the chairperson of the Fastener Standards Committee, emphasized the significance of research and application of carbon footprint technology for fasteners in enhancing the international competitiveness of China's fastener industry. Peng Yu, the supervisor of China United Certification Center, and Professor Xu Zhiling from China Jiliang University respectively gave detailed reports on the current development status of carbon footprint technology at home and abroad, as well as its system development and application. In addition, experts from Changan Automobile, Geely Automobile and FAO Components also shared their practical experiences in carbon footprint technology.
        During the seminar, the experts in attendance also visited the laboratory of Ningbo Testing Company and highly praised the experimental equipment and technical capabilities. In the future, Ningbo Testing Company will continue to contribute to the development of fastener carbon footprint technology and the progress of China's green manufacturing industry under the guidance and support of the Fastener Standards Committee.
